# AI for Telecom Operators — Personal Assistants, SMS & Voice | Mei

> Launch AI services under your operator brand: assistants subscribers can call or text, and personal assistants that handle calls for them. Built on Voxie and Locust, with an existing MTN Congo SMS deployment.

## Partnership options

Mobile network operators can integrate with their SMS and voice infrastructure. Brands and MVNOs can use provided phone numbers and a white-label service. Billing, routing and subscriber settings are agreed for each deployment.

## Two subscriber services

### AI subscribers talk to
An assistant they can call or text.

Give subscribers access to AI for everyday questions, learning, writing and advice. They use a familiar phone number or short code, with no separate app required for SMS and calls.

- Natural conversation over SMS and voice
- Your service name, personality and knowledge
- Access through your app or website when useful

Existing service model: Voxie, Rhodey and eYano on MTN Congo.

### AI that answers for subscribers
A personal assistant for incoming calls.

Let subscribers choose when an assistant answers on their behalf. It can ask who is calling and why, take a message, and help the subscriber decide what needs their attention.

- Answer selected, missed or busy calls
- Capture the caller’s name, purpose and urgency
- Deliver a summary and agreed follow-up

Pilot offering: configured with your call routing, subscriber preferences and delivery channels.

## Voice and assistant capabilities
### Live voice conversations
Real-time listening and responses, with conversation history and configurable assistant behavior.

Existing platform capability.

### Call screening & handoff
Ask a caller’s name and reason for calling, then apply agreed rules for taking a message or transferring a call.

Operator workflow configuration.

### Recordings, transcripts & summaries
Capture the conversation and provide a concise recap. Configure subscriber delivery, recording choices and retention for the service.

Existing components; delivery configured for your service.

### Bookings & other actions
Send a booking link or connect a permitted calendar or business workflow. Direct booking depends on the selected integration and user authorization.

Integration scoped to the use case.

Call screening can collect a caller’s stated identity. Verified identity and spam reputation require an agreed data source; they are not implied by a phone number or an AI conversation.

## Existing deployment: eYano on MTN Congo
eYano is an operator-branded AI assistant delivered over SMS in the Republic of the Congo. It gives subscribers a way to interact with AI without a separate app or mobile data connection. This is an SMS reference deployment, not a claim that personal call answering is already deployed on MTN.

## How it fits your network
Subscriber calls, SMS or app -> agreed operator routing/API -> Locust agent -> response, summary or authorized action.
- **Your operator experience:** Brand, subscriber activation, service settings, billing and customer channels.
- **Our AI platform:** Agent configuration, conversation handling, model connections and service APIs.
- **A joint integration:** Call and message routing, subscriber identity, notifications, language testing and operating rules.

## From a working demo to an operator pilot
1. **Define one useful service.** Choose a call/text assistant or personal call assistant, a target subscriber group, and the first language and channel.
2. **Connect and test.** Agree on routing, identity and billing. Test real call quality, local language, privacy settings and fallbacks with a limited group.
3. **Measure before expanding.** Review activation, repeat use, task completion, response quality and cost per interaction before widening access.

## Illustrative subscriber revenue models
- **An included allowance:** A free trial or plan-included messages and minutes to introduce the service.
- **Paid top-ups:** Subscribers buy additional usage after their included allowance.
- **A monthly add-on:** A recurring subscriber plan, or AI included in a premium bundle.
- **Sponsored content:** Optional local business recommendations and partnerships.
The operator sets subscriber retail prices and usage allowances. Operator fees and partnership terms, including revenue-share arrangements, are discussed privately. No operator pricing or cost amounts are published in this brochure.

## Operator questions
### Does a subscriber need a smartphone or a data plan?
SMS and ordinary voice calls do not require a smartphone app or a subscriber data plan. App-based features, calendar connections and some personal settings may need a connected device. The operator defines access and any call or message charges.

### Can the service use our brand and billing?
Yes. We offer operator-branded or co-branded deployments. Provisioning, subscription handling and carrier billing are scoped with your team. You set subscriber retail prices and usage allowances. Operator fees and partnership terms, including any revenue-share arrangement, are discussed privately.

### Can it work with a subscriber’s existing number?
A personal call assistant needs the operator’s call-forwarding or network-routing setup to identify the intended subscriber and preserve the information needed to handle the call. We validate that path during pilot design rather than requiring every subscriber to adopt a new public number.

### Which languages and integrations are supported?
The platform supports multiple model and voice providers. We test the requested language, accents and local vocabulary before committing to a rollout. Network interfaces, app connections, caller identity data and calendar actions are confirmed for each deployment.
