Mei generates a Big Five personality profile from your messages alone — no questionnaire. See how you score across 30 traits like outgoing vs. reserved or trusting vs. skeptical, and how you compare to thousands of others.
Log a daily mood from sad to happy and add an optional journal entry. Your User Overview plots both over time so you can see longitudinal patterns alongside how your texting changes — calmer weeks, busier weeks, who you reach for, who reaches for you.
Tap any contact's avatar to see how the relationship is trending. Mei analyzes texts sent, response times, message length, who initiates, emoji usage and punctuation to give you a balance score — and a graph of how it's shifted over time.
Ask natural-language questions about your relationships and Mei answers using the patterns it sees in your texts.

Send a personalized message to everyone in a folder. Drop @contact in your text and Mei replaces it with each recipient's first name — one-to-many that still feels one-to-one.
Conversations auto-sort into Chats, Groups, and Unnamed (unsaved contacts). Create custom labels and drag-and-drop to organize. Spam is filtered out of view automatically.
Hold the send button to schedule a message for later — or cancel before it sends. Between Mei users you can also send disappearing messages (deleted after read) or expiring messages (deleted after a set time).
Opt in to ask anonymous polls of other Mei users — optionally targeted by gender, age, or marital status. Earn credits each time someone answers, and get instant answers when your poll is approved.
Theme color, background (light/dark/black or your own image), bar tinting, font family, size and weight, message bubble shape and bubble colors — every visual detail is yours to tune.
