Telecom AI pricing and engagement costs
Pricing has three parts: an engagement and development fee, an ongoing monthly platform fee during POC and production, and usage fees once live subscribers begin using the service. Prices are adjusted by country and the scope of integration and customization.
What the engagement covers
Engagement & development
Illustrative scope: $15,000–$100,000One-time fee for product configuration, customization, integration and launch preparation. The scope determines the fee, deliverables and payment milestones.
Monthly platform fee
POC and production supportAn ongoing monthly commitment covers platform licensing and agreed operating support. POC and production fees reflect the service scale, hosting environment and delivery responsibilities.
AI usage
Begins with live subscribersMetered voice and message usage is charged once live subscribers use the service. Internal validation and testing allowances are defined in the engagement scope.
AI usage rates
AI voice
Up to $0.05 / connected voice minuteRate depends on country, language, selected stack and volume.
AI messaging
$0.001–$0.01 / messageRate depends on country, model and message-processing requirements.
All figures are in USD. Prices are adjusted by country; volume discounts are available. These are AI service fees. Operator call transit, numbers and SMS delivery are separate. The agreement defines billable message events and voice metering.
Illustrative engagement scopes
Focused launch
One initial subscriber service with limited customization and a focused operator integration.
- Engagement & development
- $15,000
- POC platform commitment
- $5,000 / month
- Production platform commitment
- $10,000 / month
An illustrative monthly-minimum structure: AI usage is credited against the monthly commitment, with excess usage billed separately.
Localized infrastructure deployment
A broader engagement with greater customization, operator-cloud deployment, security requirements and integration work.
- Engagement & development
- $100,000
- POC platform commitment
- $15,000 / month
- Production platform commitment
- $30,000 / month
A fixed monthly platform fee, with AI usage charged separately once live subscribers use the service.
These illustrate two engagement scopes, rather than fixed packages. Country, integration complexity, customization and infrastructure requirements determine the final quote.
From demonstration to production
- 01
Product demonstration
Explore the standard experienceThe web voice demo is free to try. It illustrates a sample conversation before any operator-specific configuration or network integration.
- 02
Tailored internal validation
Evaluate a defined product fitA custom validation scope can cover a branded scenario, selected language, prompts and internal team testing. Any configuration work, test allowance, fee and credit toward a subsequent engagement are agreed before work begins.
- 03
Pilot / POC
Test an integrated subscriber serviceThe engagement funds the agreed build and integration. A monthly pilot commitment supports the platform; AI usage follows the commercial model in the agreement. The pilot establishes quality, delivery costs and readiness for production.
- 04
Production
Operate and expand the serviceA production platform commitment and usage schedule support the agreed scale. Additional products, environments, business tenants and integrations are scoped as the service expands.
Operator inputs and delivery costs
- Telephony & messaging
- Operator-provided numbers or short codes, call transit and forwarding, and SMS delivery.
- Subscriber systems
- Operator access to provisioning, subscription management, charging and billing interfaces.
- Hosting & model processing
- Application hosting, cloud resources, AI processing, storage and retention are allocated explicitly, including any operator-hosted environment.
- Additional scope
- Extra integrations, dedicated environments, expanded support or specialized requirements are priced in the agreed scope.
What determines the quote
- Which service launches first: Personal AI, AI Voicemail or Business AI
- Target languages, voice quality and selected AI models
- Expected subscriber numbers, concurrency and monthly consumption
- Network, provisioning, subscription and billing integrations
- Hosting location, data handling and recording retention
- White-label self-care, business permissions and delivery responsibilities
Managed partnership
A managed product partnership, potentially including revenue sharing, can be agreed for production. Terms reflect the resources, delivery costs and responsibilities each party contributes. Platform commitments and usage treatment are specified in that agreement.
Final fees and usage treatment are agreed in the commercial proposal. Operator retail pricing, bundles and subscriber charges are separate from the platform engagement.
